We did get to see some fireworks last night, but it wasn't because of the 4th. Greece won the EuroCup, so the neighborhood went insane until the wee hours of the morning. We were barbecuing at some friends' place, also in Astoria, and we could hear all the honking and yelling from their apartment. The roar of the crowd made it seem like we were actually at the game. Those crazy Greeks.
Tomorrow is the beginning of my summer class. I am excited, but I would have like to have had some more time off. It is a condensed, six-week course, so it will be over before I know it.
