We finally got the opportunity to see one of the Philly Roller Girls' bouts last night. This was the championship bout between the Broad Street Butchers and the Philthy Britches. It was really fun to watch, even though it took us a while to figure out the rules. I think we know what's going on now, but the scoring is quite complicated.
Anyway, it was good fun and I recommend going to the roller derby in a city near you.
Oh, and for all the OU people out there, here is one of our own. I actually ran into her at the last Philadelphia Tattoo Convention. Small world.

This is great, A! It seems like y'all are really enjoying Philly. Which reminds me...I'm heading up there for a conference in November. I'll send you an e-mail about it, but I really hope I can see you guys!
