Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We stayed home and had a nice roasted chicken with mirepoix and for dessert, whipped pumpkin pie with ginger streusel. I was so happy that it turned out well. It was my first time roasting a chicken and my first time making a pumpkin pie. I am not a pumpkin pie fan, but Micah loves them. It wasn't a basic pumpkin pie, so I thought it was tasty myself. So did Zero.
We put up our tree this year. We haven't done this in four years. I have just never been in the mood to put it up and was always afraid Zero would go after the ornaments. So far, so good. It is an antique aluminum tree (1956 in its original box), so Zero doesn't bother with it. The ornaments are all shiny too, so I think he is a little afraid actually.
I was doing some research online, trying to get some gift ideas and I came across this anti-Barbie site for Feral Cheryl. I laughed about it, but the doll makes more sense than Barbie. I just can't imagine any of my cousins playing with it.
